Preview of All New Cards and Chest in Next Clash Royale Update!

2

Looks like the leaked info was all correct!  Over the past three days Supercell has shared a “sneak peak” of new things to come with the next major Clash Royale update, and so far everything has been consistent with the leaked information.  Some of the Clash Royale streamers/YouTubers got a head start on playing with the new cards and seeing the new chests.  Here’s a first look at what’s to come:

As the cards and stats have not yet been finalized by Supercell, I will hold off from given my evaluation of the cards at this time.  But at first glance, the two Legendary cards are definitely very intriguing to say the least! And while I like the idea of a poison spell, with the long time it takes for the damage to accumulate, I may as well be playing my Fireball.

Another interesting reveal at this point courtesy of Clash com Nery are the two new chests: Giant and Super Magical.  Here’s how they look like (in Portuguese!)

As if the current chests don’t take long enough to unlock, Giant Chests will require 12 hours to unlock, and Super Magic Chests will require AN ENTIRE DAY!  But one definitely can not complain about the output of cards from these chests (guaranteed 22 epics and 136 rares from Super Magical!!!).  So how much would these costs to purchase, you wonder?  Well it looks like that has also been revealed:

There you have it, 210 gems for Giant, and 1600 gem for Super Magical.  1600 gems may seem like a lot, but considering that the regular Magical chests only guarantees 2 Epics compared to the 22 that Super Magical guarantees, you can bet that big time gemmers will be spending their hard earn dollars on the latter.  While this may seem a little unfair to the top players who have forked out 4+ figures on collecting their Epics only through Magical chests (somehow I don’t think most readers feel bad for them…), this also gives a way for players from the rest of the world to catch up once the game goes global – if they are willing to spend.

The Clash Royale forum says these changes will come with the next update which should be today, but let’s see whether all these big changes are going to happen at once!
