We are back for another week of Card Power Rankings!  While TV Royale rarely shows matches of Top 100 players nowadays, recent tournaments/streams/videos featuring top players are showing that fast cycle decks are still currently the most popular in the game.  All 10 cards in this week’s power rankings are cards that are applicable to this type of deck.

Clash Royale Card Power Rankings (June 2nd)

Rank Card Last Week’s Rank
1 Cannon  CannonCard 1 (tied) Amazing stat: currently 80% of the Top 30 players are currently using Cannon in their decks.  Even more amazing stat: 0% of the Top 30 players are using any other defense buildings!  With these skewed numbers, we can expect to see more balance changes with defense buildings in future updates.
2 Elixir Collector  elixir_collector 1 (tied) Aside from potentially leaving players open to a sneak attack (which you can usually conveniently thwart with #1 card Cannon!), there really isn’t much of a downside to playing the Elixir Pump.
3 Hog Rider  clashroyale-icons-hogrider 5 (tied) Everyone’s most loved/hated troop jumps 2 spots in this week’s rankings.  Interestingly, someone from Reddit pointed out that the arena statue in Arena looks a lot like an older Hog Rider
4 Zap  zap 5 (tied) Zap and Hog Rider nowadays go together like peanut butter and jelly.  Popular YouTuber Orange Juice just released a great video breaking down all the different ways you can use the Zap to your advantage.
5 Skeletons  clashroyale-icons-skeletons 3 (tied) If you’re still wondering why Skeletons are so popular, be sure to check out this other Orange Juice video on how to use them properly.
6 Princess  PrincessCard 3 (tied) While Ice Wizard, Miner and Sparky are often seen played by lower level players, Princess is still by far the most played Legendary amongst top players.  Perhaps there’s just not enough maxed level Miners out there?
7 (tied) Musketeer  MusketeerCard 8 Who needs Three Musketeers when just one would suffice?  The ranged trooper moves up one spot this week.
7 (tied) Valkyrie  valkyrie NEW Where there is Musketeer, chances are there is Valkyrie.  The 4-cost gals work great together as Valk does the AoE damage close up while Musketeer provides snipe damage from a distance.
9 Freeze  download NEW Despite the big nerf, it looks like top players are still able to make good use of shortened duration of the Freeze.
10 (tied) Mini P.E.K.K.A  mini_PEKKA 5 (tied) Slight dip in usage for Mini P this week, but top players are now finding more ways to utilize his (her) high attack power, including using it on defense with Zap!
10 (tied) Goblins  goblins NEW While Skeletons have become the #1 option for cheap distraction defense, it’s not uncommon now to see BOTH Skeletons and Goblins in the same deck.
