With Tournament Week finally behind us, players have now resumed their ladder climb.  Interestingly, we are finally starting to see some new cards and decks outside of the “Trifecta” being used by top players.  Here are this week’s Top 10:

Clash Royale Card Power Rankings (July 15th)

Rank Card Last Week’s Rank
1 Zap  zap 1 It’s official: our favorite card Zap is now the most dominant card in the game!  Zap secures the #1 spot again this week, and it wasn’t even close: 90% of the top 30 players are using Zap in their decks.
2 (tied) Elixir Collector elixir_collector 2 The Pump is still as popular as ever, and I can’t see how the Clash Royale team can nerf this card anymore without breaking it.
2 (tied) Poison  PoisonCard 3 Lots of talk about Poison requiring a nerf now that it is extremely popular with all players.  I wouldn’t be surprised to see a decrease in damage for both Poison and Zap in upcoming balance changes.
4 Mini P.E.K.K.A  mini_PEKKA 9 (tied) One popular card that shouldn’t be affected by changes anytime soon is Mini P.E.K.K.A.  A well timed Zap and/or Poison will allow Mini P to deliver some massive damage on both ends of the Arena.
5 Princess PrincessCard 4 (tied) Still as popular as ever, but Princess’ reign as the top Legendary may be at risk now that…
6 Miner clashroyale-icons-miner 6 (tied) …. Miner is just one spot below her!  However the Clash Royale team did announce that Miner’s “secret buff” will be removed for the next update, so it remains to be seen how that will affect his usage.
7 Minions  minions NEW Can we start naming the three Minions Stuart, Kevin and Bob?
8 (tied) Skeletons  skeletons 4 (tied) A 4-way tie for the final spot in the rankings this week.  Skeletons remains to be the most popular 1-cost card, but we are finally seeing some top players using Ice Spirit as well!
8 (tied) Musketeer  MusketeerCard 7 (tied) A dip in the usage of Trifecta decks this week, but the Musketeer is finding her way into other deck archetypes as well.
8 (tied) Cannon cannon 6 (tied) Still by far the most popular non-pump building, but we are also starting to see more Furnace users as well! (Furnace is just outside of the Top 10 this week)
8 (tied) Giant giant NEW Trainer Chris thinks that Giant is one of the most powerful card right now in tournaments, and it looks like the big guy is making an impact on ladder play as well.
