The Card Power Rankings are finally back!  It has been almost a month since our last rankings, and much has changed since with another round of balance changes and the introduction of the Mega Minion.  Our Card Database has now been updated, so be sure to make good use of it to compare how the Mega Minion and other cards now stack up against each other!

Clash Royale Card Power Rankings (Sept. 24th)

Rank Card Last Week’s Rank
1 Elixir Collector  elixir_collector The more things change, the more they stay the same… the Pump is by the far the most popular card amongst top ladder players with 90% of the top 30 players utilizing the building.
2 Poison poison Another staple in our Top 3, Poison remains as popular as ever amongst the game’s top ladder players.  Rather surprisingly, none of the top 30 players have opted to try the newly buffed Lightning.
3 Zap zap Rounding out the top 3 once again is our old friend Zap. Interestingly, some top players have began experimenting with Goblin Barrel in their decks, which makes carrying Zap a necessity on defense.
4 Guards
guards The shielded trio is now the most popular troop among the game’s top ladder players!
5 Ice Spirit ice_spirit Ice Spirit continues its climb up the charts with its best rank yet at #5.  With players becoming better at utilizing the 1-cost troop, Skeletons usage has decreased significantly as a result.
6 Miner miner With players getting better and better on defense, the Miner is just about the most effective way to get some guaranteed damage on the opponent’s crown tower.
7 (tied) Giant  giant Despite the nerf of its attack power, Giant’s ability to tank has not suffered, and Giant-led decks are still dominating in the current meta.
7 (tied) Prince prince Despite being more expensive than the Mini P.E.K.K.A, Prince’s sprint and versatility on both ends of the arena has boosted its usage amongst top players.  Perhaps most importantly, Prince is able to withstand the attacks from…
9 Bowler
bowler … the Big Blue Baldy.  Making his debut on the Card Power Rankings, Bowler has become a perfect companion for the Giant, and a menace for all small and mid-size ground troops.
10 Musketeer musketeer The always reliable support troop rounds out the Top 10, but her fellow former Trifecta members Valkyrie and Hog Rider saw NO USAGE from the top 30 ladder players this week!  With the introduction of yet another air troop in Inferno Dragon, it’ll be even more unlikely in the future for the likes for Valk and Hog to find usage in top ladder decks.

Just as I expected, it takes time to change the meta. That’s why the card rankings are almost the same every week.
