Synchronous PvP action-strategy game Super Senso hits the North American App Stores

There are currently only a handful of mobile titles that are worthy of being called a mobile esport.  Today, a game that has been on our radar has finally been released on the Apple App Store and Google Play across North America: Super Senso.

Best described as a synchronous PvP action-strategy game, Super Senso takes inspiration from classic strategy games on console and PC such as Advance Wars.  Of course, this game is more than just another PC-to-mobile port: TURBO Studios (the company behind the game) developed the game with the mobile experience in mind, offering an engaging real time battle experience while still allowing for “play-on-the-go” accessibility.

According to Yohei Ishii, TURBO’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer: “Super Senso was created with the competitive gamer in mind, carving out a unique position for itself in the mobile games space. Throughout the development of Super Senso, our team has worked with content creators as well as professional mobile eSports teams to ensure that our game appeals to both experienced strategy tactics fans as well as players looking to get into the burgeoning genre.”

To kick off its big launch, the Super Senso team is currently running a 24-hour live stream featuring many familiar faces in the gaming community, including popular Hearthstone players Brian Kibler and Trump.  Time will tell whether Super Senso will catch on will the mobile esports community, but we will definitely be keeping a close eye on the developments of this and other promising mobile esports titles.
