What’s up Minnesota HearthStone players!? MN HearthStone is thrilled to bring you yet another local Tournament, adding to the already growing roster of events within the state. We are proud to present – The Freezing Trap! Please be sure to spread the word regarding the Event and RSVP to let us know if you’ll be there! ———————————————————————————- Registration Begins at 1:30pm Tournament begins at 2:00pm ————————————————————————————– Format: The Freezing Trap will sport the Swiss Round Format! Here’s how things will work. Swiss Round is where players will compete against other players with similar scores. e.g: If you win your first match, you will be matched against someone else who has won their first match. If you lost your first match, you will be matched against someone who has also lost their first match, and so on. The exact number of entrans will determine how many Swiss Round will take place. -Each player must bring 1 Deck. -Players may NOT switch Decks/Hero’s throughout the course of the Swiss Rounds -Sideboarding is NOT allowed Swiss Rounds will continue until TOP 8, where then, remaining players will battle it out in a Bo3 conquest format until Grand Finals, which will then be played out in a Bo5 conquest format. -Each player must bring 3 decks, each deck MUST be of a different class -A player must win one game with each of his three decks to win the match. -When a player wins a game, the deck used by the winning player cannot be used for the remainder of the match. -The losing player can keep the same deck used or switch to a different one of their choice. -Players will be told what classes their opponent has available, but they won’t know which class is picked until both players have picked.
The Freezing Trap is open to players of all skill levels and all ages! We welcome anyone and everyone to pickup their phone, laptop, or tablet, and come on down for an afternoon of HearthStone goodness!
